Technical Sessions on Register-Based Census in the Statistical Centre of Iran
The Technical Sessions on Register-based Census are being conducted in collaboration with the Statistical Centre of Iran, United Nation Population Fund in the I.R. Iran and the Statistical Research and Training Centre in Tehran from 1 to 3 December 2019. Two senior experts from the Statistics Korea, Mr. Youngil Lim and Mr. Seonjo Kim are participating in these sessions to share Korean experiences and knowledge on register-based census with the Iranian participants. In these sessions, the representatives from the respective offices of the Statistical Centre of Iran; Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare; Ministry of Health and Medical Education; National Organization for Civil Registration; Ministry of Education;
I. R. Iran Post Company; Ministry of Science; Research and Technology; Ministry of the Interior; Tehran Management and Planning Organization; and Plan and Budget Organization are taking part in this event. The main objectives of these technical sessions are to provide essential information for strengthening the infrastructures, improving the data quality, and capacity building for conducting register-based census.
