Summary report on the production of the edible mushroom nationwide in the year 1399
According to the results of the Survey on edible mushroom cultivation units, over 106 thousand tons of edible mushrooms were produced in these units in the year 1399.
The results of this survey show that the national edible mushroom cultivation units produced more than 106 thousand tons of edible mushrooms (Agaricus bisporus (Button Mushrooms) and Oyster) in the year 1399, which increased by about 43 thousand tons (69%) in comparison with the year 1396.
According to the survey results, there were 1953 edible mushroom cultivation units nationwide in the year 1399, of which 1267 units were operating and the rest (686 units) were non-operating.
In the year 1400, there were 8518 production halls with an area of 1878 thousand square meters in the edible mushroom cultivation units.
