Producer Price Index in the Manufacturing Sector in the Summer of the Year 1396 (Base year: 1390=100)
The producer price index in the manufacturing sector in Iran reached 222.8 in the summer of the year 1396, which rose by 5.9% over the previous season (210.3), and by 13.1 %, compared to the same season in the previous year (197.0).
The percentage changes in the average general index of the four seasons ending to the summer of the year 1396 was 10.2 percent compared to the average index in the four seasons ending to the summer of the year 1395 (the inflation rate of the producer in the total manufacturing sector), which increased over the inflation rate of the four seasons ending to the spring of the year 1396 (7.4%).
