In the month of Shahrivar of the year 1398, the national households general index (1395=100) reached 181.7 which increased by 0.5 percent compared with the previous month. In this month, the province of Qom saw the highest monthly inflation rate of the national households with a 1.7 percent increase and the lowest monthly inflation rate went to Kordestan province with a 1.6 percent drop. Percentage change in general index for the national households was 35.0 percent in contrast to the corresponding month of the previous year (point to point inflation). The highest point to point inflation rate was for Ilam province with 46.2 percent and the lowest one was for Fars province with 29.8 percent. The twelve-month inflation rate ending the month of Shahrivar of the year 1398 for the national households stood at 42.7 percent. The highest twelve-month inflation rate went to Ilam province with 51.9 percent and the lowest one was for Qom province with 36.3 percent.
