Review of the survey of “Data Collection on Construction Permits Issued by Nation’s Municipalities” in the spring of the year 1396 indicates that:

In Tehran, a number of 14936 residential units were predicted to be built via the construction permits issued by Tehran municipality, which decreased by 19.3 and 4.9 percent, respectively compared to the previous season, and the corresponding season in the previous year. Average number of residential units per construction permit has been 6.6 units. A number of 2273 construction permits were issued by Tehran municipality in spring of the year 1396 , which declined to 10.5 percent compared to the previous season, and rose by 27.6 percent compared to the corresponding season of the previous year. The total floor area in these construction permits, issued by Tehran municipality in the spring of the year 1396 was up to 2672.9 sq. m, which decreased by 24.7 and 29.3 percent relative to the previous season, and the corresponding season in the previous year respectively. The average floor area in these construction permits has been about 1176 sq. m over the period under study.

Average number of residential units per construction permit has been 2.7 units. A number of 29884 construction permits were issued by the nation’s municipalities in the spring of the year 1396, which dropped by 19.6 percent, compared to the previous season and rose by 2.2 percent relative to the corresponding season in the previous year. The total floor area in these construction permits in the spring of the year 1396 was about 14553.3 sq. m, which decreased 26.7 and 6.9 percent respectively compared to the previous season and the corresponding season in the previous year. The average floor area in these construction permits was 487 sq. m.
