A Report on Producer Price Index for Modern Poultry Farms Products In the Summer 1396 (1390=100)

The general  index of the producer price index for Modern Poultry Farms Products in the summer of the year 1396* reached 265.36 which increased by 5.88 percent in comparison with the previous season (quarterly inflation) and 10.29 percent in contrast to the corresponding season in the previous year (point-to-point inflation).  The chicken group and eggs group raised by 5.21 and 8.30 percent, respectively causing this index to experience a 5.88 percent rise in comparison with the previous season. Moreover, these groups with 5.47 and 27.91 percent increase respectively caused this index to have a 10.29 percent rise in comparison with the corresponding season in the previous year. The changes in this index for the four seasons ending to the summer of the year 1396 shows an 18.17 percent rise (annual inflation) in comparison with the four seasons ending to the summer of the year 1395.

Provincial Index

The review of the Producer Price Index for Modern Poultry Farms Products in the summer of the year 1396 shows that this index increased in most of provinces compared with the corresponding season in the previous year. The highest rise for this index went to Chaharmahal & Bakhtiyari province with 36.72 percent while Hamedan province with a 6.66 percent fall had the greatest decrease in contrast to the same season in the previous season. Moreover, Qom and Kerman provinces with a 19.12 percent rise and a 6.74 percent fall had the highest increase and decrease in prices in contrast to the previous season, respectively.

The Major Groups Index

1.      Chicken

The index for the chicken group in the summer of the year 1396 reached 295.84 which increased by 5.21 and 5.47 percent in comparison with the previous season and the corresponding season in the previous year, respectively. All of the items in this group including pullet, broilers and one-day-old chicken increased by 8.81, 4.28, and 10.33 percent in comparison with the corresponding season in the previous year, respectively. Moreover, pullets and broilers experienced a rise of 4.91 and 8.77 percent in comparison with the previous season.  Other item in this group, one-day-old chicken decreased by 7.26 percent in comparison with the previous season.

2.      Egg

The index for the egg group reached 194.20 in the summer of the year 1396 which increased by 8.30 percent in comparison with the previous season and 27.91 percent compared to the corresponding season in the previous year.  In this group, the fertile egg and edible egg experienced 6.09 and 10.82 percent rise in comparison with the previous season, respectively. These items increased to 31.38 and 24.30 percent in comparison with the corresponding season in the previous year, respectively.

3.      Other

This group includes manure which reached 868.47 in the summer of the year 1396 and experienced 1.83 and 1.85 percent rise in comparison with the previous season and the corresponding season in the previous year, respectively.
