The producer price index in the mining sector in Iran reached 218.6 in the spring of the year 1396*, which rose by 7.6 % over the previous season (203.1), and increased by 14.1%, compared to the same season in the previous year (191.5).

  The percentage changes in the general index of the four seasons ending to the Spring of the year 1396 was 2.7 compared to the same period in the previous year (the inflation rate of the producer in the total mining sector), which increased, compared to the inflation rate of the four seasons ending to the winter of the year 1395 (- 4.1%).

In the mentioned season, the "mining of metal ores" section had the highest impact on the 7.6% increase in the price index of the mining sector.

  The price index in the “mining of metal ores” section rose from 198.23, to 212.1 with an increase of 6.9 percent, compared to the previous season. This growth was mainly due to the impacts made by an increase of 20.7% in the activities on "mining of copper".

  In the "mining of copper ore" activity, the price index in the spring of the year 1396 rose from 69.0 to 83.3, which is 20.7 percent higher than the previous season. This rise is mainly due to an increase in the price of the "copper concentrate".

  Changes in the price index in other activities did not have a significant effect on the change in the general index of the mining sector.
