A delegation from the Statistical Centre of Iran participates in the 48th Session of the United Nations Statistical Commission
A delegation from the Statistical Centre of Iran participated in the 48th Session of the United Nations Statistical Commission and its side events which were held from 4-10 March 2017. In the side event concerning 2020 Round of Population and Housing Censuses: Contemporary Technology, Coordination and Support which was held during the lunchtime on Tuesday, 7 March 2017, the Iranian delegation had a presentation on innovations and experiences obtained from the 2016 Population and Housing Census.
It is noteworthy that Statistical Centre of Iran conducted the 8thPopulation and Housing Census in two modern electronic methods (paperless) throughout the country in order to reduce the cost of the Census implementation.
