Implementation of Operating Mines Survey in the summer 2013

The 2013 Operating Mines Survey is going to be implemented from 23 July to 22 September 2013 for 60 days throughout the country. In this face-to- face Survey, the enumerators collect detailed data from 5500 operating mines through questionnaire.

It should be noted that the objective of the implementation of the Operating Mines Survey is to produce statistics and data on the performance of this sector, calculation of its share in the national GDP, amount and value of the products, amount and value of sale, volume and value of direct export, value-added, the composition of workforce by type of work( producing /non-producing), educational attainment of the workforce, amount of extraction, value of investment, environmental parameters, health and safety,…
