47^th Session of the High Council of Statistics

The 47th Session of High Council of Statistics attended by Dr Moradi, Vice President for Strategic Planning and Supervision and Head of the Council was held in the Statistical Centre of Iran on 11^th June 2013. In this Session, the Deputies Ministries and the member organizations of the Council participated. Issues such as implementation of the Survey of Pilgrims to Holy Mashhad in 2013, developing a profile for the indices related to the Article 68 of the Fifth 5-Year Development Plan of the I.R. Iran, and the progress report on the realization of the goals of the National Strategy of the development of Statistics (NSDS) and the National Statistical System were discussed and addressed.

According to the approvals of the Session, all government agencies are duty-bound to have cooperation on collecting statistics required for calculating the indices of the Article 68 and formulating performance report of the NSDS. Moreover implementation of the Survey of Pilgrims to Holy Mashhad in 2013 by the General Governor Office in Khorasan-e-Razavi province which is supervised by the Statistical Centre of Iran was approved.
