The Vice Presidency for Planning and Supervision in collaboration withthe Statistical Centre of Iran celebrates the National Day for Statistics and Planning on 22 October 2012.  This celebration, which is attended by more than 700 representatives of the Ministries, governor generals, universities, and ECO includes the following program.

• Delivery welcome speech by Deputy Vice President for Planning and Supervision
• Delivery speech by Head of Statistical Centre of Iran
• Honoring the selected people engaged in statistics area
• Panel discussion on the Fifth Development Plan: opportunities and threats
• Panel discussion on NSDS: opportunities and threats

It should be mentioned that the National Day of Planning and Statistics in Iran is celebrated by the Statistical Centre of Iran on 22 October every year.
