In spring 1390[1], 58 percent of the total households which consist of 11801481 households, had at least one travel. Instead, about 42 percent of the total households which consist of 8582519 households had no travel in this season.
In summer 1390, 11121995 households equal to 54 percent of the total households, had at least one travel. The results of this survey show that the ratio of the households who traveled in spring was 4 percent more than summer.

Most of the travels with overnight stay in spring 1390 took place for the purpose of visiting friends and relatives (50 percent) and recreation and amusement (28 percent) and pilgrimage (13 percent). Travels with the mentioned purposes have accounted for 91 percent of the travels made by households. In summer of the same year, 49, 24 and 17 percent of travels were made with for the purpose of visiting friends and relatives, recreation and amusement and pilgrimage respectively. About 9 percent of the travels in spring and summer were made for the treatment, education/training and shopping.
