CPI by Provinces in the Month of Mordad of the Year 1399[1]

In the month of Mordad[2] of the year 1399, the national households general index (1395=100) stood at 235.9 which increased by 3.5 percent compared with the previous month. In this month, the province of Lorestan experienced the highest monthly inflation rate of the national households with a 5.5 percent increase while the provinces of Qom and Mazandaran had the lowest monthly inflation rate with a 2.3 percent rise. The percentage change in the general index for the national households was 30.4 percent in contrast to the corresponding month of the previous year (point-to-point inflation). The highest point-to-point inflation rate was for Hormozgan province with 34.8 percent and the lowest one was for West Azarbayejan province with 24.8 percent. The twelve-month inflation rate ending the month of Mordad of the year 1399 for the national households stood at 25.8 percent. The highest twelve-month inflation rate went to Hormozgan province with 31.1 percent and the lowest one was for West Azarbayejan province with 21.6 percent.
