In the month of Azar[2] of the year 1399, the national households general index (1395=100) stood at 280.6, which increased by 2.0 percent compared with the previous month. In this month, the province of West Azarbayejan saw the highest monthly inflation rate of the national households with a 4.5 percent increase and the lowest monthly inflation rate went to Khuzestan province with a 1.0 percent rise. Percentage change in the general index for the national households was 44.8 percent in contrast to the corresponding month of the previous year (point-to-point inflation). The highest point-to-point inflation rate was for Kordestan province with 54.2 percent and the lowest one was for Qom province with 41.2 percent. The twelve-month inflation rate ending the month of Azar of the year 1399 for the national households stood at 30.5 percent. The highest twelve-month inflation rate went to Hormozgan province with 35.3 percent and the lowest one was for West Azarbayejan province with 27.2 percent.
