CPI by Provinces in the Month of Dey of the Year 1399[1]

In the month of Dey[2] of the year 1399, the national households general index (1395=100) stood at 285.7, which increased by 1.8 percent compared with the previous month. In this month, the province of Zanjan saw the highest monthly inflation rate of the national households with a 3.3 percent increase and the lowest monthly inflation rate went to Mazandaran and Qom provinces with a 0.7 percent rise. Percentage change in the general index for the national households was 46.2 percent in contrast to the corresponding month of the previous year (point-to-point inflation). The highest point-to-point inflation rate was for Kordestan province with 55.8 percent and the lowest one was for Qom province with 41.5 percent. The twelve-month inflation rate ending the month of Dey of the year 1399 for the national households stood at 32.2 percent. The highest twelve-month inflation rate went to Hormozgan province with 36.5 percent and the lowest one was for Markazi province with 28.8 percent.
