In the month of Aban, the year 1402, the household CPI of the nation stood at 210.9, an increase of 2.2 percent compared to the previous month, grew by 39.2 percent in contrast to the corresponding month of the previous year, and rose by 44.9 percent in the 12 months ending the month of Aban, the year 1402, in comparison with the last corresponding period.

National Point-to-point Inflation Rate

The point-to-point inflation rate refers to the percentage change in the price index compared to the corresponding month in the previous year. The point-to-point inflation rate in the month of Aban, the year 1402 stood at 39.2 percent, that is, the national households spent, on average, 39.2 percent higher than the month of Aban of the year 1401 for purchasing “the same goods and services.” Moreover, this month, the point-to-point inflation rate experienced no change compared to the previous month (Mehr, year 1402).
