National Consumer Price Index by Expenditure Deciles in the Month of Dey[1] of the year 1400[2]

 

The national inflation rate for the month of Dey of the year 1400 stood at 42.4 percent, fluctuating between 41.6 percent for the ninth deciles and 45.2 percent for the first (those with the lowest income) and second deciles among the expenditure deciles. The range of the twelve-month inflation changes in the major group of "food, beverages and tobacco" was between 55.7 percent for the tenth and 56.5 percent for the second decile. The major group of "non-food items and services” also saw these fluctuations, ranging from 33.7 percent for the first decile (those with the lowest income) to 38.4 percent for the tenth decile[3] (those with the highest income).
