According to the compiled Quarterly National Accounts which were released by the Statistical Centre of Iran, the growth rate of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the country at market price (base year: 1390) for the first half of the year 1397 was 0.4 percent.
The results indicate that the industries of agriculture and manufacturing groups (including natural gas and crude oil extraction, exploitation of other mines, manufacturing, energy and construction sectors) had a negative growth of -2.5 and
-1.2 percent respectively and services group experienced a 2.3 percent growth.
